The 1970 Morgan Years: The G.O.F. Abbotsford ’72 event.

Dear Mike,

A few photos to record the classic capers at Abbotsford. Mess. Powley at the starting line – engine screaming, ('er NO!) frame torquing, ('er NO!) wood screws stripping (YES!) in anticipation of the flag!

Much later (notice there are clouds in the sky now – the sun dial timer operator long since fast asleep) …the Mog seems to hurtling NO! screaming NO! rushing NO! ‘er moving in a cloud of sawdust toward the finish line.

Unfortunately, since the camera was not equipped with a f-1000 lens, the incredibly fast (lost?) TD of the Races was unable to be photographed. (MG-TD seen here on the left in the picture enjoying the parade lap.)
