One Sunday Drive to Ruskin near Mission in Feb. of 1962

At the scene on that fateful day... Whoa! "Long way down" say's the "novice driver" didn't make it through the chicanes this time; right turn a bit too sharp. Must get back to the track and practice my "efficiencies". You just wait and see the improved driver at the GOF in Abbotsford 10 years later.

It seems that the 1958 Chevrolet at the right jumped out and redirected the TF to take a hard right. We don't mention the drifting over the middle line with the bias ply tires, clipping the Chev. and coming out the worse for it. There was some mumblings about crazy sports car drivers...oh dear.
Nice day in Feb.for the drive however.
